Capturing elegance, controlling perspective and constructing digital art.

In my spare time I organise and take part in semi-professional photography shoots. Typically, I create an artistic concept; advertise it to upcoming models, make-up artists and professional hair stylists, then carry out a photography shoot on location or in a studio.

In May 2015, I created a concept based around captivating black and white imagery. The shoot took place in Centre Studio, Newcastle Upon-Tyne and involved alluring low light scenarios that focused on expressing emotion and showing elegance.

Drawing focus

To create captivating images I edited with contrast in mind. Using various techniques I emphasised the model's eyes, lips and hair to produce dramatic photographs. On some occasions I added extra elements to enhance focus and allure viewers further.

“I had the pleasure of working with Harry during a studio photoshoot. He was excellent at communicating his inspiration during planning stages, which enabled myself, the hair stylist and model to be fully prepared on the day. He had great ideas for the look of the shoot, which turned out amazing. I would highly recommend Harry to anyone as a photographer and look forward working with him again in the future.”
